I visited Austin on a trip to Texas in October, and I fell in love with the fun and eclectic side of this city! There are so many places to snap a pic, that I wanted to compile a list of my favorite, insta-worthy spots throughout Austin and beyond.

Austin is literally covered in murals! From shopping centers to nail salons, to street corners downtown, you’ll find an array of artistic backgrounds to suit any aesthetic! Here are just a few of my favorite murals in Austin:

Grab a bite at one of these picture perfect restaurants
I love a themed restaurant, and Austin is full of cutesy spots to grab brunch or late night cocktails! For an all-around amazing photos-and-food experience, check out Taqueiro Mucho- a bachelorette destination where even the taco shells are pink! I also snapped a few pics at Gabriella’s Downtown, 6th & Waller, and Lucky Robot.
Visit a cute coffee shop
There are so many cute places to grab a cup of coffee or matcha around Austin. I especially loved the vibe at Revival Coffee, with its pink walls, floral decor, and themed menu. There are also a ton of cute coffee shops on Congress Ave and throughout downtown Austin.
Relax & enjoy nature
Austin is one of the few cities where you can still get up close and personal with nature. There are quite a few hiking trails within minutes of downtown, and if you venture about half and hour outside of the city, you’ll find some beautiful spots with fall foliage, perfect for snapping a pic! I was fortunate to stay at the Ruby Hotel in Round Rock, with gorgeous natural views!
