Nashville is considered the “Bachelorette Capital” for a reason. From cute brunch spots to museums, nightlife, and shopping- it’s the perfect destination for a girls’ getaway! Nashville is a city with so much to offer, constantly growing and innovating. Here are just a few of my favorite stops and activities in the music city.

The Rooftop at the Fairlane

On one of my recent trips to Nashville, I stayed at the Fairlane Hotel. Not only is it a beautiful place to stay, but the penthouse suite has been converted into a rooftop lounge with a changing theme each season.

When I went, it was a blossoming Bouquet Bar with thousands of flowers and multiple photo backdrops. During the holidays, the space is revamped with a Christmas installation. Drinks and menu items are always on theme, and the service is top-notch!

White Limozeen

Situated on the rooftop of the Graduate hotel, White Limozeen is known for its ultra-pink, country-glam décor, bachelorette-ready beverages and menu items, and rooftop pool; complete with pink umbrellas and a larger-than-life bust of Dolly Parton.

I’ve been here twice- and enjoyed the vibe and the picture-perfect pink backdrops. I don’t recommend ordering food at White Limozeen, mostly because the menu items can be a bit underwhelming and overpriced. But the lounge area is a great spot to watch the sun set and toast the weekend with friends!

12 South District

One of Nashville’s trendiest neighborhoods, 12 South is a commercial and residential avenue with plenty of coffee shops, specialty stores, restaurants and more. Check out White’s Mercantile for unique gifts, and you may find Amelia’s flower truck parked outside! There are also tons of murals here, including the blue stripes mural outside of Draper James.

Country Music Hall of Fame

One of Nashville’s must-see activities, the Country Music Hall of Fame is a gigantic museum dedicated to the history of country music legends. Even if you’re not a huge country music fan, it’s worth checking out the many exhibits they offer. You could easily spend all day here, so plan accordingly! In addition to the walk-though museum, I got to experience the Hatch Show Print tour. I learned so much about how concert posters are printed, and got to make my own print to take home!

Murals around Nashville

Nashville has a nice variety of insta-worthy murals to suit any aesthetic! Here are a few of my favorites, and where they’re located. PS- these make the best group photo spots for bachelorettes!

Lips Mural, Hillsboro Villlage- 1814 21st Ave S, Nashville, TN 37212

Candy Hearts Mural, the Gulch- 601 8th Ave S, Nashville, TN 37203

Blue Stripes Mural, 12 South- 2608 12th Ave S, Nashville, TN 37204

Nashville Wings Mural, the Gulch- 302 11th Ave S, Nashville, TN 37203

Broadway

Oh, Broadway. This is classic Nashville nightlife (and let’s be honest, it doesn’t stop during the day). There are enough Honky Tonks and clubs to entertain even those who don’t care for country. If you’re looking to have a good time in classic Nashville fashion, grab your girls and pop in to any of the Broadway bars for live music. Or visit a rooftop lounge at ACME, Jason Aldean’s, or Ole Red.

L&L Market

L&L Market is one of those cool spots you just have to experience. Filled with restaurants and boutiques, it’s a food hall complete with a yoga studio, flower shop, beauty salon and more! Be sure to visit Culture & Co., where you can sample meats, cheese, and wine via conveyor belt!

Goo Goo Cluster Experience

If you’re looking for a unique group activity, check out the Goo Goo Cluster Experience, located just off Broadway. Here, you can learn about how Goo Goo Clusters became a Nashville favorite, and you’ll get to make your own custom Cluster to take home! I even got to try “flights” of chocolate varieties from around the world. Book a class in advance here.

Where to eat in Nashville

Nashville has a huge variety of restaurants to choose from, and there’s truly something for everyone. From Nashville Hot Chicken to elegant brunch with mimosas, here are my favorite restaurants in Nashville.

Hampton Social– The Nashville Hampton Social location is the perfect spot for Sunday brunch with the girls. From brunch food classics to a variety of rosés and novelty drinks, you can’t go wrong here. Be sure to snap a photo with the famous “Rose All Day” sign!

Restoration Hardware– While RH has several locations around the country, the Nashville location showroom and restaurant are my favorite. Make sure to make reservations ahead of time or put your name in at the desk because brunch here fills up fast. If you don’t have a reservation, you can browse the three levels of furniture and home decor while waiting for a table. RH is known for having a simple menu- mostly sandwiches, salads, and shareable appetizers. But the vibe here is as classy as can be.

Hattie B’s– Hattie B’s is a Nashville classic, with its world-famous Nashville hot chicken. Depending on the location, you can probably expect to wait in line, but it’s well worth the wait. For fast-casual dining, this place has the best sides, large portions, a cool atmosphere, and quality food!

5th & Broadway Food Hall– Talk about something for everyone! This brand new food hall in Nashville is extra practical when traveling with a large group. I came here for deserts (cotton candy, crepes, and donuts abound here!) but there’s a nice variety of restaurants here too. The common seating area usually has live music, and it’s a great spot for everyone to grab their favorite dish and eat together and people watch.

Edley’s BBQhttps://www.edleysbbq.com/menus/food– located in the trendy 12 South district, Edley’s is a casual and charming BBQ joint. I’m not usually a fan of Barbecue, but I was impressed by the service and selection of meats, sides, and sauces available.

Where to stay in Nashville

The Fairlane is a centrally located hotel close to downtown attractions. The rooms and lobby are beautifully decorated and reminiscent of old Hollywood glamour. There’s also a rooftop lounge with a changing decor theme and menu every season!

The Moxy Hillsboro Village is an affordable option with clean rooms and fun decor throughout. My favorite part? It’s within walking distance of the Hillsboro Village shopping area, with Jenni’s Ice Cream, Biscuit Love, and numerous coffee shops just minutes away!

The Russell is a great option for groups, as they have a few apartment-style rooms that sleep up to 6 people. Set in a repurposed historical church, you’ll be impressed with the beautiful stained glass windows and charming design of the hotel.

This is an unstaffed hotel with contactless check in (think Airbnb), but guests have access to the coffee bar, spacious common areas, photo booth, and even a podcast recording studio!

Nashville is a city with something for everyone, and I hope to have sparked some inspiration when visiting the music city! Be sure to comment below with your favorite activity in Nashville, and you just might see it on my next travel guide. Thanks for reading!
